And here are some house photos. The projects don't seem to end regardless of how much work is done. This week Brad is on Reading week, so I took vacation. Our intention is supposed to be to finish up some housing jobs that were started in the summer. Unfortunately, it seems like none of them will actually come to an end, so we're working on them a little more, but nothing will be finished. Oh well, painting the drywall behind the sink is definitely an improvment. So here's our home in it's constant half-finished state. At least it's mostly clean at present. Except for our bedroom... Enjoy the half painted walls!
I'm obsessed with knitting, yarn and Norway. Not necessarily in that order.

I haven't posted any of my knitting projects lately - partly due to the fact that I have not completed a lot of interesting knitting projects lately. But then I started to use Ravelry and the addiction has been renewed. The problem is I have a huge queue of projects now, all items for me, when I should be working on items for friends who keep producing small humans. Oh well... The photos below are a project I started two years ago. Normally I'm known for my speed knitting, but this pattern confounded me - so I put it in storage for a year a half. Finally when I pulled it out in November I realized the problem was actually an error in the colour pattern instructions in the book I was using. So I spent 1 month un-knitting a huge portion of this sweater. At the same time, I decided the colours I had used in the colour work were ugly so it was a chance to switch to something I prefered. I had a few problems along the way with lapels and colours, but finally finished it in mid-February. And after blocking it, I'm pretty happy with the finished project. I think I should have knitted the size smaller as I normally like a more form-fitting sweater. Nonetheless, it's done, it's warm and it will get worn.
